Blocking/hiding cloud list on i-touch??

995 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  mom2karen
I'm not sure when it happened, but my daughter's i-touch (2nd gen) is now showing all the books from the cloud and she downloaded a book thinking I had sent it to her.  It was not one I would have had my 13yo read and she now has a much bigger knowledge of sex then I planned on providing (she was totally grossed out, but couldn't stop reading, poor thing).  Is there a way to hide the cloud list?  I did show her how to select device but it is easy to accidentally switch back to cloud.

The cloud has always been accessible through the Kindle apps for iDevices - there are no parental controls or anything to restrict access. The Paperwhite does have parental controls though and restricts access to the cloud, store, and web browser.

Thanks. I knew the archive had been available on the touch and she knew not to go into it, but with the devise/cloud buttons so close to each other she is accidentally clicking cloud. She now knows to double check where she is and to be aware that if the book needs to download it wasn't sent to her by me.
