How come when I look at some ebooks on Amazon, it says something like 'length: 100 pages', but the only information about the size of my own novel is the filesize? I want my potential readers to know I have a proper 60k-word novel out there!

(I was going to title this thread 'How do I show my length?', but I didn't want to get banned from the forums)

Hi Rob,

I have noticed the same thing. Two ways that help is to have a create space paperback available as well which you can price high (even over $10 so as not to slow your kindle sales). That gives you a page count and it makes your kindle book look extremely discounted as it will show both prices.

Another way is to use real page numbers in your ebook.

The third way is time. I have heard they do it eventually.

Thanks for answering that!

While I'm waiting for Amazon to get round to listing my page-count, I've just gone and added my own estimate in the product description.
