Is there a setting to always start a new book at the cover instead of at the predetermined beginning? Some of these books have their start location set after things that I'd actually like to read, so I just don't trust them.
I don't think so. I believe that they choose where it starts when they format it. After you open the book, you can always go to Menu>Go to cover and that will take you to the cover and you can go from there. I've had to back up a time or 2 myself.
Thanks, it's no biggie. I'll just keep doing that -- I guess I'm paranoid that I'll miss something but there have been a couple books where there was a lot of material that I would have missed otherwise.
I always use menu to get to the cover and click through instead of just starting at the publishers set start point. At least twice in books I've read their "beginning" was AFTER the books prologue
