I got accepted for a Bookbub slot, yeah! I'm thinking of running a Kindle Countdown Deal, so I can  still get the 70% commission during the promotion.

Looks like I'll lose the Canada promotion, but I can do US and UK. Does anyone know if I can do the US and UK promotion at the same time?

I know a while back, some authors had issues with their promotion not running as scheduled. I'm assuming Amazon has the worked that out now, but I plan on starting the promotion a day early, just in case.

Anyone use Kindle Countdown Deals for their Bookbub promtion? Any issues or suggestions?

In my opinion, it's the only way to go... If you're in Select and you're accepted at BookBub, keeping 70% only makes sense. You're right about Canada since they're not part of Kindle Countdowns. Don't bring you price below $2.99 on Amazon.ca to keep the price in line with your Countdown price. If you do that, you're royalty will go to 35% across all Amazon sites.

Check out Wayne's thread (http://www.kboards.com/index.php/topic,208498.0.html) from last week. He talks about setting up primer ads before the BookBub ad to help with your book's Amazon ranking.

Good pint, I hadn't thought of that.
