BookTastik Rocks!

I just wanted to give a shout out to Booktastik.  This is my first time using them to advertise my free book, and man....are they worth it!  For only $10.00USD they boosted my book so well that in less than one day I've had over 900 downloads...which is a LOT for me.

If anyone out there is advertising their free book, I highly recommend using them, they are fantastic.

None of my books have ever climbed Amazon ranks before, and today, my book, The Wheels of Change has hit #2 in one of its categories, and #5 in the other category.  Unbelievable.  Wow.  And I still have a whole day yet for downloads.  I can't wait to see what the end result is.

Thank you Booktastik! :)

Do they advertise only free books, or are bargain books and full priced books available for advertisement as well?

Congrats on the success btw :)
They do both :)

Good to hear. Bookmarked :p
I have a promo set up for Friday, 6/26, and can't wait.  It's for the New Release deal for Black 21 (May 2015) for 2.99.  Dionne Lister is super nice and very prompt. Paid $5.

Hey, I've got a BookTastik spot for Friday too! Good luck with yours! (And Dionne is very nice to work with!)

I found yours on there today and tweeted it! ;)
Got mine reserved for 7/6. Thanks for the tip!
I hate to burst your bubble, but I have a strong suspicion that the site didn't produce all of those downloads. Your book may have been featured elsewhere, like EreaderIQ or just on Amazon in places. I wouldn't be surprised if the site's audience consisted entirely of 900 subscribers, and I'd find it hard to believe that all of them went and downloaded your book.

Thank you, Nancy! I found yours and did the same. I would have RTd mine earlier in the day, but...well, I posted a heartfelt reply to another tweet on today's big decision early this morning, got a whole bunch of favorites, and decided it would be tacky to follow that up quickly with self-promotion. I waited until this afternoon to do it.
The person behind Booktastic is also a writer and editor.  Very friendly, helpful and a pleasure to work with.
I like them. Last month, while running a free promo, I used them the day before my Bookbub ad. I had a ton of downloads, pushing me to the top 1000 in the free store. By the time Bookbub kicked in, I easily went to #1 overall. I have another free day coming up at the end of this week, and I'm using the same strategy.
