Do you publish to iBooks directly? If so, you have access to Apple's marketing help that comes with your publisher's account.
I've never seen that. Where should I look, Joe?Joe_Nobody said:Apple has a "pay-per-click" marketing capability, just like all the rest.
I've been playing with it. So far, it's paid for itself with sales, but that ain't saying much.
Might want to check it out.

All I know about the codes is that you can generate 200 and that they expire, so it's best to do it in batches.jenminkman said:I'd really like to know this tooSince I went direct a couple days ago! I did see a button that said 'generate codes' which is potentially very interesting if you hand them out to reviewers on release day so you can boost your ranking a bit... anybody been playing around with those codes who's willing to share her/his wisdom?

Can you help us find this Joe? It's not available in any of the searches I can do. I've emailed support but they won't get back to me before tomorrow.Joe_Nobody said:Apple has a "pay-per-click" marketing capability, just like all the rest.

I was referring to iAds. They have opened it up for iBooks, and yes, it is a pay-per-click type of arrangement.thewitt said:I just got off the phone with iBooks Publisher Support and there is no pay per click advertising program.
Not sure what you are referring to Joe, but if you have a good way to target iBooks for direct sales, I would love to know what it is.
