Is there a way to broadcast a document in PDF or MOBI to multiple Kindles at once? I know there's the e-mail option, but it would be pricey and impractical in the long run for my purposes. Any ideas?
To send anything to a Kindle the sending address has to be whitelisted. . . .so whichever Kindles are to receive your email need to have your originating address in their 'safe' list.
I have no idea if a document will go through if there's more than one address in the "to" field.
The recipients would be the ones who would have to pay for the transmission if it goes via 3G.
If the Kindles are wi-fi, and connected, and you use the free.kindle.com email address, there cannot be a charge. If you use the kindle.com address and the Kindles have and use 3G, there will be a charge for delivery.
