I purchased The Foolish Dictionary, Webster's Russian Thesaurus edition by Gideon Wurdz for Kindle 2.  It's in English, but the idea behind the book is that you can click on any word and the Russian equivalent will appear.  I read that the Kindle 1 read only Latin languages, but am assuming that this version should support Russian, or why sell it?  Any help with getting this feature to work would be greatly appreciated.

I think a call to customer service is in order. . . .if the titel doesn't work for you they'll probably refund your money.  I know that doesn't help much.  :(  I hadn't heard that any alphabet other than latin was supported, but I could be wrong.

Good Luck
