This may be old news to most, but it seems someone was asking about this not too long ago.
You can change book covers through "edit details" and uploading a new cover there.

Also, you can combine editions if you have more than one and through "edit details" you can set the new book as the primary edition with its cover, purchase link, etc. by clicking on "set this book as the primary edition for this work." (It's about midway down the page.)

As I said, this may be old news to most, but I thought it might be helpful to some.

Depending on who you ask at Goodreads, you can/can't do this.

I was lectured on how changing my cover would confuse people who purchased it. I suppose them reading the title would be asking too much. I was told I'd have to do a new edition, of the book, not the band, to put up a new cover.

Someone else said just change it.

I changed it.

Someone changed it back.

I DELETED the old cover I didn't like. Mwuhahaha!

Cover remains the way I want. Hopefully this won't confuse the 30 people that have read the book.

On your edit details page, do you delete the cover image and upload a new one, or just 'add additional images'? My paperback still has the old cover, but since most people are going to connect the Kindle cover to the book, that's the one I want front and center.

If you want to change the cover (without making it the primary edition), you delete the old cover and upload the new one.
If you are combining editions and making one the primary edition, that book's cover will be the one that shows without you having to delete the other, but the old covers will still show in a smaller size on the right of page as "other editions." I don't know if you can delete those if for some reason you want to. I'm okay with the old covers showing as other editons, but I wanted the new one to be the current, full-sized cover.

(I had two separate listings for the old and new before I combined them.)
