Hi Everyone,

Are you trying to find an affordable venue to advertise your Kindle book? With some sites charging up to $300 or more per ad, getting your book noticed can seem far out of reach. :(

At Flurries of Words, we offer a range of affordable advertising options starting at a minimum donation . Even better, unlike most sites, you can run your ad for several continuous days rather than just one in addition to picking the dates you want it to appear. See http://flurriesofwords.blogspot.com/p/book-advertising.html or http://flurriesofwords.blogspot.co.uk/p/book-advertising.html for more details

As an added bonus, we maintain both a USA (http://flurriesofwords.blogspot.com/) and a United Kingdom/England (http://flurriesofwords.blogspot.co.uk/) site so all ads will be automatically posted on both sites for every day that your ad runs.

But wait, there's more. We will also feature your flash fiction for FREE. Certain criteria do apply and the submission are subject to review before posting but submitting an excerpt is a good way to attract new readers to your book. See http://flurriesofwords.blogspot.com/p/flash-fiction-archive.html for more details.

Thank you so much for your attention and please email us at [email protected] or [email protected] with any questions.

Thanks again :)

Hi Everyone,

Do you have an indie book to promote but find the costs just out of your price range? Would you like to give your book a jump start ? Are you tired of your book being rejected by the big sites? Sick of having to compete for slots, particularly in the Holiday season?

Then why not check out our indie book advertising options at Flurries of Words at http://flurriesofwords.blogspot.co.uk/p/book-advertising.html for European authors and http://flurriesofwords.blogspot.com/p/book-advertising.html for American authors.

We maintain active sites in both the US and the UK. Booked ads automatically appear on both sites, so you are reaching two different markets for the price of one. Plus, we post ads around the clock so as to maximize the reach for our followers throughout Europe, North America, Australia and Asia.

If you are looking for an economical way to promote your book, why not check us out? :) Alternately, please email us at [email protected] or [email protected] with any questions.

Thank you so much for your attention and best of luck with your books! :)

Best wishes, Paula

Paula,

I'm not sure if I've ever given you the official "author services" welcome--so here it is! [br][br]You're welcome to promote your business and website here in the Writers' Café, but we ask that the same basic rules be followed as we have for authors in the Book Bazaar: you may have one thread about your service and must post to it rather than start a new thread each time. I've merged your two latest threads. New threads about the service will be removed. Please bookmark this thread so that you can find it again to post to. And, you may not make back-to-back posts to the thread within seven days. If someone responds (such as this post), you may reply but otherwise must wait seven days, thanks![br][br]Also, active members (10 or more posts on our forum, active in the last 60 days) may have a listing in the Yellow Pages for Authors. Hi everyone!

Just a quick note to let you know that we at Flurries of Words are now making available options to promote specific to Canada, India and Australia in addition to the USA and UK. IF your promotion is international, we will now provide direct links for these additional markets in your ad for free.

If you've not heard of us before or haven't visited us in a while, please check us out at http://flurriesofwords.blogspot.com/ and http://flurriesofwords.blogspot.co.uk.

Please email us at [email protected] or [email protected] with any questions.

Hi Everyone,

Apologies but Flurries of Words no longer taking donations or submissions.

We were just doing this as a fun hobby but recently had very bad experiences with a couple of authors abusing the system. Even though we ran their ads according to their specifications, they dishonestly asked for chargebacks from PayPal, Fiverr and/or their credit cards.  Some were extremely abusive and went on to denigrate us/the service here (just look at the threads here over the past 10 days) and on other forums all over the internet (e.g. cyber bullying)

Needless to say, it's no longer fun and the stress these petty few have caused has made me decide my time is better spent elsewhere.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our service.  Of course, we will continue to promote from time to time when we feel strongly about a particular book or have interesting content to share.  However, it will no longer be available upon request.

Apologies for any inconvenience.

Have a lovely holiday season and best of luck with your books.  :D

Best wishes,

Ouch, what a dreadful experience. People can suck.

All the best with the blog, and I'm sorry on behalf of all authors that a minority spoiled the party for you guys.

Thank you. :)

Just to add, we are still running all ads booked prior to this announcement, so there are no worries on that front.

Best wishes!

Hi, folks,

locking this vendor thread for a service no longer available while we discuss.  Thanks.

EDIT:  We've locked this thread as the vendor has closed the business down.  At the same time, please note that feedback to a vendor about poor experiences is acceptable here and that how a vendor handles that feedback is instructive to membership considering the services.  Active disputes between a vendor and its customers should be handled offline between the vendor and customer.  Once the transaction has been completed, feedback in the vendor thread, negative and positive, is appropriate.

As this vendor is no longer accepting business, we will leave the thread locked.  PM me if you have any questions.  Additional threads concerning this particular, now defunct, business will not be allowed.  PM me if you have any questions.
