Hmmm.... I find #1 really difficult to read, especially in a smaller size. But the brown one doesn't really catch my eye. I know. I'm no help at all.
I'd go with the brown one. While I'll click on something I can read with a cover that might not be to my taste, I typically won't click on something I can't read.
