How does this work? I submitted a pdf and checked in all my channels correctly and instead of letting me the launch interior reviewer, as I could last year with a print book, its sending my file to amazon for a check, instead of the automated check option I was used to.
Has it changed recently?

Yes it changed. You will get a chance to review once it goes thru this step.  It surprised me as well and slowed my release by a couple of days...

I don't know how it used to work, but when I uploaded my file under the Setup>Interior screen, it scanned the file for any issues and let me launch the Interior Reviewer then.  After I uploaded both the interior file and cover I submitted it for review.  After they completed their review, I had the option to order a print proof or to use the online reviewer.  This was as of last week.
