Dictionaries etc.?

The paperwhite has a translation function so if, for instance, you come across a French phrase or something, you can see what it means if you're not sure.  I don't know if it needs the dictionaries or not. I'd guess not since they're not actually ON the kindle, once you've chosen your default language. . . .but I don't know for sure.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't use them for the translation; they're for if you pick the primary language to be something other than English.  You can delete them from your account. Or not.  They'll arrive again if you buy a new Kindle.
