Do you have an author page?

Amazon encourages new authors to make an author page.  I wondered if I wanted to do that, but then decided that maybe it would help my novels sell better.

So I wrote it up and put in a picture.  When I was done, Amazon said it might take as long as 7 days to get it on.  However, a couple of hours later, I got an e-mail from Amazon saying it was ready.

The author page can also be changed as you get new novels published.

So do you have an author page?

Yes, but you have to make a separate one for each site. Which reminds me, I need to check I filled my German one out. :)

Thanks for this tip, Ilyria - never occurred to me that I'd need to generate a new Author page for UK and DE.

You're welcome :) I only found out accidentally. I was thinking, "Where has my page gone!" ;D
I think what I'll do for my DE Amazon site is have someone translate my profile into German.

Just as a way of showing some effort and a little respect to German culture. Might help,
might not, but I think it would be a good idea.

Just my thoughts.
I've been terrible. I dont' have one yet.  I have a hard time talking about myself and so I've been putting it off.  :-[
I do have an author page. I haven't thought about making one for amazonuk, but maybe I should!
I have one for the amazon us but not the others. Thanks Ilyria for the heads-up on that.
Thanks for the post. I think I have an author page on Amazon, but I don't know about foreign sites.
No because Nigel Slater the cookery writer already has one.
The Germans all have perfect English - better than some native speakers! - but I think it would be nice to translate the profile into German for them. No Babelfish or Google Translate, though! It seldom works. ;D
Absolutely! You need to be wherever you can be. It just adds more to your google search! Good luck!
