Anyone using a software/app or manual logging of time spent on writing a book?

I thought this is one quantifiable way of how much of your time that is allocated to your work, and one criterion how much would the price of the book be.

And I don't know if it would matter more to full-time than part-time authors.

The only time I log hours is when I'm in the cockpit of a Cessna.  (For reals.)

Other than that, no, but I instinctively know how much time I spent on each book, and how much difficulty I had in the subsequent editing passes.  Plus, how much the market is willing to bear for my specific genre.

I did see that the Open Office add-on that tracks my progress logs time spent writing. But honestly you aren't punching a time clock, you are writing. It takes however long it takes.
