I'm not sold on the current blend. It looks a little too Antiquey framey (if that makes sense to you, you win 100 internet points :) ). Also, I feel like it's too monotone. Most legal thrillers with a silhouette of a person have a vibrant background and either the title or pen in a nice vibrant color to complement or contrast with that background color. Check out Grisham's Partners, Rogue Lawyer, or Gray Mountain.

As far as the typography goes, I recommend using the same sans for both title and pen. Using different typefaces that aren't complementary tends to be more jarring. The typeface for the title is great for a legal thriller, just use that for your pen. Or if you are firm on the typeface for your pen (which is totally fair), I recommend finding a nice serif for the title, maybe a Caslon or even the tried and true Trajan?
