Kindle content (books, newspapers, etc.) can be downloaded wirelessly, without the need for a PC.

Is there a benefit to downloading content through a PC? For one thing, the PC connection lets you move content, with more supported file types, from your PC to your Kindle.

Can you transfer content that was downloaded wirelessly to your PC? (Is there a reason to do that?)

I don't really understand. What do you mean transfer content from your PC, wouldn't you have to do that to get it on your Kindle? Everyone seems to think that getting things wirelessly is amazing, but how often will you have your Kindle and not your lap top for long periods of time? And obviously the Kindle is going to have to charge, again requiring you to connect to your PC.

.... and then some spammer had to resurrect it. I deleted the spam post, but it's going to be at the top 'til people quit posting.
