Draft Versus Final for Amazon Pre-Order

I will be uploading my next short book in a few days. It will be in final form, ready to publish, but I'm going to put it up as a pre-release, with the release date in a few months.

If I tell Amazon that it's a final version, not a draft version, will I still be able to upload changes if something comes up?

On Monday, I submitted the "final" files for my three books which are being released on the 22nd. A few hours later, I noticed the same typo in the back matter of all three. Amazon allowed me to submit new final files.

This was all before the deadline to submit the final files (10 days before release). I'm not sure if it's different after the deadline.
