Hi,

I've just changed the cover on one of my books, but if I add the link to Facebook, it shows up with the previous cover. It's this one:

http://www.amazon.com/Ravished-Ice-Palace-Pack-paranormal-ebook/dp/B00R68GGJS/ref=asap_bc?ie=UTF8

And similarly, if I use the Facebook 'share' button on the first part of my serial, http://www.amazon.com/Isabel-Werewolf-alpha-erotic-romance-ebook/dp/B00O3QDW2U it shows up on Facebook with a much earlier version of the blurb.

Amazon says it has nothing to do with them. Anyone have any advice, please??!

I had this problem a while ago in relation to the blurb. As far as I remembered doing, I had to create a new one, as the new one will have the new pic (if it doesn't it has the option to upload one instead of the Amazon served image) and the blurb at that stage can be edited if you hover over it (it turns yellow.)

I just played about with an old one just now, and I couldn't find a way to fully edit it, although if you put the link in again with slightly different text it might update it. I've found that Facebook feature to be a bit glitchy at times.

This has happened to me. I just use my book's new cover from my website.
For example, my novel, Out of the Blue, has undergone more than one cover change. The most recent one wasn't appearing, so I did this for my Facebook ad:

IT ALL BEGAN IN THE SUMMER OF 1979...
A Midwestern library clerk is infatuated with an English actor after watching him on a PBS drama. For two years, she researches Alexander Thorpe's life and career, saving her money to travel to his Cotswolds village, intent on meeting him. What happens when they finally get together?
Read "Out of the Blue: A Novel" and find out!

US link: http://www.amazon.com/Out-Blue-Novel-Lisa-Maliga-ebook/dp/B009AB2U2Q

The bolded link is the cover image which will show up on Facebook.

Hope this helps!

I've used it numerous times and while it fixes the link image that shows up when commenting on posts, it still displays the outdated version when starting new posts. Really annoying I must admit.
What source site are you linking to? If it's Amazon, I don't have a clue. ;) If it is your website you are linking to, I know I've had issues when I did not have the metadata updated for the page I was trying to share/post. It took me forever to figure out why when I shared a link to my website, it said "NULL" in the box and showed an old picture that wasn't even on my website anymore. This is why I am hiring someone to take over this sort of thing, haha, I waste way too much time on the internet trying to do things that are no big deal to computer-savvy people. 8) ???

Yeah, it's about Amazon. It seems to get all the right data and even shows the correct picture in the debugger preview, but still displays the old one when making a new post. Irritating.

Have to do more research in the future.
