I must be doing the same thing wrong, because my profile picture doesn't show up when I comment, either. It works just fine when I comment
from my regular facebook page, but my fan page - no.

wow, thank you! I will "like" you back and comment.Cynthia Shepp said:I'm not sure what is going on. I just liked your page and shared your page on my facebook page. (www.facebook.com/cynthiashepp)
When I shared it, your thumbnail came through. If you just started your page, it may have just taken time for the picture to catch up. You can try commenting on my page on the link to see if it now shows up.
I will give it a go! I wasn't going to post here because I felt completely dumb but man I'm so glad I posted.John Daulton said:Make sure you are using the page AS the page, not your profile (for the sake of clarity, your "profile" is your personal FB page, your Page is your business page).
On the top of the page, very top and right, you'll see: button with your name, a little toggle button, home, the lock icon, and the gear icon. If you click that toggle button next to your name it should give you a drop down bar that says: "You are posting, commenting and liking as "Your Page Name". Click to change to "Your Personal Name." (You may already see that second drop down bar if the little toggle is clicked already). Use that function to pick which "persona" you are commenting as. You the person, or You the page.
Your billing question could be a number of things on that ad:
Check your billing information and make sure you don't have a typo or something wrong on it.
Check your ad for TOS violations (sometimes having a call to action gets flagged, even "Click Like if you XYZ", and definitely if you have any erotica photos, etc.)
If you get into the settings of the page, you can set it so that you're always posting as the page (not your personal profile) when you're on your page. That's nice if, like me, you want to keep your personal and authorial Fb presences separate.John Daulton said:On the top of the page, very top and right, you'll see: button with your name, a little toggle button, home, the lock icon, and the gear icon. You can like a page from your Author page. I do it all the time. Go under The Arrow next to message on the page you want to like. Under there is Like as Your Page. All your pages (if you have more than one like I do) will show up. Select the page you want to like another page with.Joyce DeBacco said:I wanted to keep all book related posts strictly to my author page too. I don't really want author posts lumped in with all my family and friends stuff. But I've recently discovered that you can't like another author page from your author page. You have to do it from your personal page, which means all their book related material goes there. Trouble is, if I want to like someone's page who's just liked me, I have to remember who it was then look them up on my personal page. A real screwy way to do things, I think.
I also can't figure out how to have both my link and my post show up when someone shares it. Just the link shows up without the post.

You can like another PAGE from your page, but many authors use PROFILES instead of pages. Which they probably shouldn't, for a couple reasons. At any rate, profiles have to be friended, not liked, and you can't friend from a page. That might be the problem you're running into? What you're calling your "personal page" is probably your profile. Your author page is a separate thing you run from the foundation of the profile. You can run multiple pages from one profile.Joyce DeBacco said:I wanted to keep all book related posts strictly to my author page too.
