"Travel through a deadly forest where a miracle occurs. Visit a quiet seaside village to confront a deadly legend. Marvel at a knightly code that lasts to death and beyond. These and other wonderful fantasies of delight, murder, betrayal and love come to this anthology by way of FantasyFic's talented writing community."
I first came across Sandra Bell Kirchman, the editor and another of the anthology's authors, by way of her website and community forums. No, that's not quite right. She found me. Upon reading some of my Everquest fanfiction, Ms. Kirchman invited me to join her community. The idea of an anthology was tossed around for a while and eventually she made an official request for story submissions. In the end, twelve stories by eight different authors were accepted, including two of mine, Pearls and Bone (which the second sentence in the blurb above references) and one called Kinship.
The authors range in age from seventeen to seventy and in location from California to New Jersey to Saskatchewan. It's an enchanting read, suitable for all ages (by which I mean, no graphic sex, etc). The dead-tree version is 162 pages. The Kindle version is available for $1.99.
Thank you
