Checked the report. I had a single borrow for one book and it said $1.41 But it must have been rounded up because I'm getting $1.406 on my other books.

Anyone else seeing this or is my math fuzzy? What do you get?

I didn't have a book for sale until 9/14 and wasn't on KBoards then. Did something happen between June and July 2014 to make the numbers take a sudden dive? Or was it as random as everything else?

Amazon introduced Kindle Unlimited in July so the numbers changed drastically as so many people could borrow books.

Well, wasn't my timing special.

Thanks.
The difference is volume. Before people had one borrow a month. That usually ended up being 150-200 borrows the first day of the month for me and about 20-30 every day for the rest of the month. Now I'm getting 500-750 a day. So, what is better? One thousand borrows at $2 each or 20,000 borrows at $1.41?

Hey Wansit,

I gotta say thank you for always posting numbers for various things you study. They help me a lot. :)

Shuffled that info away in my folder.

Where do you go to look at what you get for book borrows? I've checked everywhere I could think of and can't find it.
prior month royalties. open february excel. look at KOLL net sold on one book, and divided the earnings for those borrow by the number of borrows

Okay, I'm a little confused. This is my first month working with borrows. Did everyone else receive the email from KDP about raising the fund from $3 million to $8 million? Does this affect the payout? Or is the $1.406 what the payout is with the added funds? It seems odd that they'd send this after posting the monthly report. And it definitely refers to Feb. Are we getting more money? *Asked in a very hopeful voice.*

sorry but the no more money, they added the 5 million to make it 8 million which made the payout 1.40
