Figured I'd throw the question out there....

After two years with my current publisher I'm looking to attain an agent. I've written and rewritten my query, it's honestly the most difficult piece of writing I've ever done. I've had a beta reader and my wife go over it, but I'm not sure they know a good query from a bad query and the problem is, I'm not sure I do either. It's a completely different beast. So, does anyone have a line on a query proofing service or circles that exchange query letters? Someone with experience that will look over it and give me an "expert" opinion? I've googled and I've come up empty. With all of the knowledge around here I figured one of you might know someone.  Thanks for your time!

No clue but good luck.
Best query grinder I've ever seen is absolutewrite.com . Unfortunately, you have to have 50 posts. I guess it depends on how much of a hurry you're in. You could also post it up in Critique Corner, which won't require 50 posts, but will require you to earn 3 karma points first by critting something else.

Or you could put it up here, if you haven't already. There are some people getting queries worked over on kboards.

Thanks for the info, some just hooked me up with someone on Fiverr, they've got perfect feedback some I'll probably contact them.
JV, I used to read slush for a small press, so I've seen lots of query letters, and have a good idea of what not to do. If you want me to take a look at it, PM it to me and I'll take a look tomorrow morning when I get up.
