Finally made it here:) Merry Xmas!

Hi everyone! I'm Filipa Silva, a portuguese author and have been published by one of the main publishing houses in Portugal. Since my publisher opted to not translate it to English, I hired a professional translator and launched in Amazon. It's exciting!

I'm here because of "Let's get digital, how to self publish and why you should" by David Gaughran. If you have any doubt about the level of disruption that e-books and self publishing will bring to the industry over the next 3-5 years, think again. Great read for any author and/or ebook device owner.

From the first glimpses, I'm sure I'll have some interesting debates/ suggestions about how a non-english author can make it in the US/UK ebook markets.
