There is a free e-book on our website in mobipocket format. It is called "Uncovered Passion". It is a 21,000 word paranormal romance. If you like it or not, please let us know. You can leave comments on our guest book or fill out the contact us section. Thanks so much!

I just wanted to clarify that this only works with the MobiPocket formatted ebooks, not the Adobe ebooks. I've really enjoyed downloading audio and ebooks from the library, but have noticed that most of the ebooks (at most libraries) are in Adobe formats. Some books are in both formats, but more and more it seems that new titles are being offered in Adobe format only. I asked one library about this and they said that they get more demand for the Adobe format, and that's why the bulk of their funds go towards those.

I'm seriously considering getting a Sony 505 (in addition to my Kindle) so I can read all the formats.
The adobe books, at least at my library, are not in the usual adobe format we're all accustomed to. They're encoded in some weird "digital editions" version of the file, which requires a separate program to run (not adobe acrobat, but something else). Those might not actually work on the Sony, Kindle DX, etc.

Hi!

Per our current policy, I've separated this out from the Free Book threads into its own Book Bazaar thread. Free & Bargain Book sticky threads are for members to post their "found" Bargain or Free books as appropriate. Authors are allowed to post self-promotional stand-alone threads in the Book Bazaar and post updates and respond to reader questions within the thread, thanks!

The Free version is found on our website. www.christophergolliday.webs.com.  The PRC file is the mobipocket file. Amazon.com has the short story for  $1.00 for those who are not comfortable with downloading from their computer.

Also, this file is not encrypted. When you place a file in the mobipocket creator it gives you the option of encrypting but we chose not to. Anyone can download this file and read it regardless of the e-reader. The Word file is also available to those who need to read on the computer itself.

Thanks.
