Welcome to KindleBoards! You're welcome to promote your business and website here in the Writers' Café, but we ask that the same basic rules be followed as we have for authors in the Book Bazaar: you may have one thread and must post to it rather than start a new thread each time. New threads will be removed.

Please bookmark this thread so that you can find it again to post to. And, you may not make back-to-back posts within seven days. If someone responds (such as this post), you may reply but otherwise must wait seven days, thanks!

Also, active members (10 or more posts, active in the last 60 days) may have a listing in the Yellow Pages for Authors.

Thank you for all the interest. I've been enjoying working with all the new-to-me writers that have contacted me through this forum. I wanted to let you know that my prices will be going up on June 1st, 2013. I still have a few openings in May if you want to schedule before the price change.

You may contact me through private message feature or email me at [email protected]

Thank you, Amanda. As always, I appreciate your support.

Susanne, I like a week for 50k and two for 100k. Right now, March and April are booked, but May is open. I generally try to get samples done within 24 hours because I know time is of the essence and if I"m not a good fit for someone, I want them to be able to find someone else quickly. I do recommend that you sample more than one editor at a time, if you can. That gives you a really good perspective.

Thank you, Gwen. Hoping to have the first draft done by May. I'm aiming for around 70K. I have worked with a lot of editors during the time I was with publishing houses, so I know what to look for. I also use around 5 betas after the editing is done.

I have an unexpected week open at the end of June and one in mid-July if anyone is interested. I've had to slow down because I was hired on as the Editorial Director at Entangled for their historical romance line...so omG crazy. But I want to keep freelancing also, so feel free to ping me. :)
