So I translated my book's German page to see how it was set up and noticed they have tags! The UK pages don't have tags so obviously I was excited. I tagged my book with a mix of English and German tags. Then I signed out and signed into my husband's account to vote on the tag and lo and behold the tags were gone. So I tried to tag it under my husband's name hoping they'd stick. Nope. The tags are gone again. The German Amazon site is weird. Thought you ought to know.

With the UK site, you have to have purchased something from that site to create and vote on tags.  I've heard stories from others who have thought they tagged in the UK, but went back and they were gone.

I assume it's the same with the German site.

I'm pretty sure S. Wolf is right. I've tried tagging books on Amazon UK before and it doesn't work because I've never bought anything there.
