I heard a piece on NPR this morning about Gomorrah by Roberto Saviano. He is an investigative reporter and the book is about the Camorra, the Neapolitan version of the Mafia. Apparently the head honchos of the Camorra have announced that Saviano will be dead by Christmas.

The book was written in Italian and the English translation is due to be released on November 25. Right now, the Kindle version is listed at $14.85 and is available for pre-order; the paperback version is $10.20. I wonder if the Kindle price will drop?

Has anyone here read this? You would have read it in Italian, of course! Anyone else here interested in this type of book?

I'd be interested in checking this book out; But I like gangsters so I may be a little biased (My puppies are named Capone and Brasco). 

I think I'll wait for the price to drop though.

I'm a HUGE NPR fan!!  I've discovered sooo many good musical artists and books just from listening.  Love it.
