I was amazed I even have Goodreads reviews, but it seems I do.

How do I get my Goodreads reviews to show up on Kobo? I searched here, but I didn't understand what I read. It seems worth doing, because my experience is that even bad reviews sell more than no reviews.

I don't have ISBNs except the free one from Smashwords. I don't have a Goodreads account. Something about that site and me--we just don't mesh, somehow. It baffles me totally.

Please explain how to get the reviews to show up. I can't be the only moron one who still wonders how. (Surely, I'm not.)

Hi all. I wrote the tutorial that Edward posted a link to (thank you, btw).

I have a technical question maybe someone here can answer.

The process is a bit involved the way I've written it. When I figured it out, I had added my book to goodreads using Amazon's ASIN number. If you do that, you can't also add an ISBN; it's one or the other on goodreads.

What I was wondering is can you go back into that same goodreads edition and change from using the ASIN to ISBN and keep your reviews and ratings?

If so, one could edit an existing Amazon edition and put the kobo assigned ISBN there and skip making a Kobo edition and combining editions. I wasn't brave enough to risk it, since I had a bunch of reviews/ratings.

For each version you create a new book, so one for print, one for epub, one for amazon and any other version you have with an ISBN number.
Then you accept them as your own work (as you did the first time with your first book).
After that you can merge all the versions together (there is a button for that).
And then you fill out all the information for all the different versions.

By merging the versions you merge all the reviews and ratings over all the versions together.
