Oh, I should also mention I'm an author. My book is called "Boob Tube," and it's available from the Amazon Store for $4.76 via Whispernet ( http://www.amazon.com/Boob-Tube/dp/B00197L3HW ) and from Smashwords for $3.95 with the coupon below (http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/3)

Description:

Go behind the scenes of the daytime television soap opera industry with Boob Tube. Written by Lesleyann Coker (a former reporter for Soap Opera Weekly) and her husband Mark (of Smashwords), the two interviewed dozens of soap opera industry insiders for their stories and then fictionalized everything here. At http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/3 enter coupon code DD72V now at checkout to save $1.00.

Hi Mark - I am always glad to see new authors - I am an advocate of them, in fact don't read very many of the others I used to read.

Nice to have you here  8)

Welcome, Mark, I downloaded my first book from Smashwords yesterday, and the interface was quite nice!  I'm going to check out your book (big soap opera fan here).

Meb - I get the feeling you're sharing these not just to take us on fun jaunt down memory lane but to also see if we're really paying attention. ;D
Looks to me that some aren't.

Amazing what you can discover in the archives, isn't it? Do you suppose Jimmy Hoffa is lurking in there somewhere?
I've spent a lot time in there and haven't found him...yet. ;)

I didn't mean to catch anybody in my effort to get familiar with KB's history, but it appears my net is full.
Alas, no Hoffa, yet...

Hello, and welcome to the boards.

I will definately check out your site.  I am published with amazon (kdp) but options should always be kept open  :)
