Here is my guess for features for K2 (Feb 9). Not my wish list of what I would like to see, or a "if you don't give me this I won't upgrade" list, but just my real guess.

1. Unfortunately, a design very similar to the pictures we have seen.
2. It will have SD card.
3. Some indexing system such as folders
4. Faster processor for faster and better page turns
5. Slightly clearer e-ink screen
6. More internal memory

I think that it will look the same as far as size.  The page buttons on the side will be smaller and positioned more at the middle of the screen.  It will have an SD card slot.  It will have a better internet.  It will have folder capability.  It might even have two SD card slots so that there could be one card for books and the other for music.

I am going with cheaper.
NO SD card slot
Better gray scale (8 levels instead of 4 level of gray)
More internal memory to make up for the lack of SD slot
Battery life about the same
Fast page turns (not that that is a problem, it will just get better)

I am hoping for directories and faster dictionary look up.

There may be a more upscale version announced as well:
More expensive
1 or 2 SD card slots
Better gray scale (8 levels instead of 4 level of gray)
More internal memory to make up for the lack of SD slot
Battery life about the same
Fast page turns (not that that is a problem, it will just get better)
WIFI in addition to Whispernet

We need not think about this as either or.  I can envision 3 products selling at once at price points $250, $325, and $400.  The Kindle 1 having its price reduced to $325.

Wouldn't Wi-fi be a step backwards?  I would think whispernet would have a much broader area of coverage than Wifi.
