I was working on my LibraryThing presence and just lucked into it by chance...

It's really funny, but I don't like adult romances, but I love teen type romances.  Still a big John Huges fan and will watch 16 candles and Pretty in Pink anytime.  Maybe it's the sweetness of a less complicated time of life...who knows.  But Vicki's book looks great.  And I already know the writing will be top notch.

So when I read her blurb...well, you just know I had to have it.  What is that expression?  Saw it. Wanted it. Had a fit. Got it!  LOL

I saw the title of this thread and passed over it as I assumed it referred to Vicki's other new treat, The Overtaking. However, I read a comment The Victorious One made in another thread and saw a new cake in her window. I thought, Hmm, what's that? Did Vicki bake another cake already? I then clicked on it to see what was up. The thing is so new, it doesn't have a single review yet so I guess people are still taste testing. I'm not into romance, but the blurb and the fact it's a novelette (a short read) are tempting me to get that new cake. I think it'll be a delicious read!

Perhaps it'll overtake The Overtaking! Here's to hoping it takes off real soon.
