Has anyone published their work with Kindle Singles.  Short story? Novella? Short Non-ficition? Short creative non-fiction? Journal?  If so, what is your experience?

Not yet. I just submitted three of my novelettes (already available in the Kindle store). I have NO idea if I did it correctly, but I received a form letter that seemed to indicate that I had.

Yes. I haven't messed with it, but I have a friend who is working on something for the editor now. The editor has to approve everything that gets included under the Singles umbrella.

I've applied for both my titles.

I think one will definitely get rejected, but the other has a chance.

There are criteria, they want something that expresses "one single idea" (so my 2 story collection is probably out), and they want something between 5,000 and 20,000 words (this is rough, I can't find the criteria right now).

They accept fiction and non-fiction, and there is a quality assessment involved.

They say it takes around two weeks, and you will only get a response if you are accepted.
