I was wondering if anybody has tried putting something up on Noise Trade.com? I saw it mentioned in an interview at https://davidgaughran.wordpress.com/2015/01/31/how-to-win-sales-and-influence-algorithms/. The site seems to get 1.5 million visits a month (according to SimilarWeb). The interview suggested that non-fiction titles may do better than fiction at NoiseTrade but offered no real data to that effect.

Have you tried NoiseTrade? For fiction? For non-fiction? Did it work out? Would you recommend it?

It was good for a few well-written reviews, and you get a decent group of people that you can import into your email database (I had 25), and those people were solid. Not automatic unsubscribes.

If your goal is to make money, you will be disappointed.

I personally think it was worth it, but I could see others saying otherwise.
