I have a Kindle 2 and have found that on some books, the text display is turning into one big block.
For instance this bit from a book:

His face was beaded with sweat that had nothing to do with the cool October evening.
    "You alright?"
""I don't know." His voice sounded sort of hollow. Shock.
    "You did good back there"

When read on my kindle would look like this:

His face was beaded with sweat that had nothing to do with the cool October evening. "You alright?""I don't know." His voice sounded sort of hollow. Shock. "You did good back there"

As you can imagine, this is quite a pain in the butt. Is there anyway I can change the display of the text or is this an issue with a the copy of the book I have? Any help is appreciated.

It looks like a formatting issue, unless you've read this same copy of this same book on the Kindle before and it was different then.  Nothing you can do, really, but you can email the publisher or author to let them know this book has issues.

I agree with Casey. . .sounds like a formatting issue.

If you purchased the book in question from Amazon, you can contact Kindle Support and get your money back.  They'll usually do that even if it's been more than a week for formatting problems.

And you should leave feedback on the book page about the formatting.

If you got it elsewhere, complain to them, I guess.
