Hello to you,
I'm new to kindle, and have only just heard of Kindle Board, so this is my first message, and I'm not sure really who I am talking to. My name is Ann Evans and I'm an English children's author who has just discovered how fantastic kindle is for getting out of print titles back on the 'shelves' for new readers to enjoy.
I've always loved writing - and reading, and have been writing for a living for over 20 years.
Some of my early titles have long been out of print, so fairly recently, I took another look at four particular stories (which I'd got the copyright back for) and decided to re-write them, bringing them up to date, giving them a new series name and new cover, and bringing them out as ebooks.
The books - all kids murder mysteries were originally published by Scholastic as 'sealed mysteries' where the last chapter could be 'pulled out' to reveal whodunnit!
Well actually, they published the first three, but sadly the fourth book didn't see the light of day because of an editorial decision. (Ho hum!) So there's a brand new crime story story that hasn't been read - as yet!
I wanted my new series title to reveal they were murder mysteries for younger readers - so I've come up with the series title: Little Tyke Murder Mysteries, and I think Amazon have linked them to the printed titles of Fishing for Clues, Stealing the Show, Pushing his Luck - and the new title is Pointing the Finger. I obviously couldn't re-create the 'pull-out' pages, so I've added a link to a webpage where the young readers can check for clues and red herrings.
I have a website if anyone wants to take a look, it's www.annevansbooks.co.uk
Thanks for reading my ramblings.
