Hello there everyone - from Adam Rainville

Hey everyone,
    I'm Adam writing from Athens, Ga. I look forward to discuss reading, writing, and marketing stories with all of you. Right now I've got eleven short stories/novelettes/novellas published on Amazon (twenty by the end of the year). I've been working hard on producing fiction which spans from literary to horror to sci-fi. And man, it's been something. I never expected self publishing to be so much work. But the work is enjoyable and rewarding, especially when I see my stories posted with covers of my own design.
    I've slowly been putting a marketing strategy together. Right now I have a (too rarely updated) webpage, an author's facebook page, and a presence on Goodreads. I'm happy with the stories I've sold so far, but you know how that goes. I'm pretty sure they were purchased mostly by friends and blood relatives. I'm about to try out KDP Select and their free promotional days to see if that get the ball rolling. We'll see!
    If you're in the same boat or have any advice, I'd love to hear from you. I'll be snooping around to get the feel for this site, but expect some questions from me shortly.
