Pardon my glee, but I just wanted to celebrate with everyone here. Austinist is a popular site for people who live in Austin. Lots of people check it out, and my novel just got reviewed there, above an NY Times author. I really can't believe it.

"An interesting read no matter how you slice it"

Anyone else have any good news to share?

That's great! And above a NY Times author, too!
Thanks. But I stand corrected: not an NY Times author, but a longstanding writer for The New Yorker.

Michael,
Very nice review. Since both of my children graduated Texas A&M, I felt like an intruder reading about anything from Austin. lol

Nice job on Austin Night.
Thanks Meb. I understand how you felt like an intruder, but I wouldn't exactly say Austin Nights is pro Austin/UT. It's pretty neutral, just in case anyone wonders hehehe.

That is fantastic news my friend! Getting on a huge site like that is a big accomplishment, and getting better reviews than a NY Times reviewed book. Well that's cool! :D
