I'm just having a giveway until February 19th and have submitted to all the websites that specialise in Kindle books and promotions.

But I also find hot deals sites get a good response. I wonder if any of you have good suggestions for the best ones?

I use Hot Deals UK, which is a very popular site. You can see the listing here http://www.hotukdeals.com/freebies/valentine-s-weekend-gift-vg-lee-s-diary-a-provincial-lesbian-for-kindle-amazon-1477777

I do click on book freebies I see there to help them get 'hot' and onto the 'hottest deals' page.

But there aren't as many books, so in some ways a free book really stands out on this kind of site.

This is something I've never thought of doing before, Adele.

Have you had much luck? Or are you just trying this out for the first time?

I noticed Hot Deals UK when we were doing the giveaway of Joe Stein's crime novel. His following aren't the usual book crowd and they posted info about the giveaway in places I wouldn't have thought of. It went very well for him on Hot Deals UK. In fact I think it was the reason the downloads made that tiny extra leap, got the book high enough in the rankings to be very visible, and the downloads then went into the thousands.

It's probably easy to find the best of these sites because googling makes the most popular ones come up first. Hot Deals UK is the site we use to get the latest vouchers for a low price on pizza delivery! It has all sorts of deals, so the books do stand out. And so many of the deals aren't really good, that a genuine free offer or low cost book comes across well.

I see there's another book that got a minus temperature but that's because the link isn't really to Amazon and it doesn't download.
