I only have 10 books on my kindle.  I do not have whispernet so I download to my computer.  No problems doing that but today when I tried to add 3 books I got a message that my memory is low.  I thought it would hold 200 books.  Not really a problem except that I can't get my device to delete the books I have already read.  I get no help from customer support and I cannot open "using your kindle."

Hi Annelee,

Welcome. I see you are new here.

On your Kindle, go to the settings page. Choose menu, then settings. You should see a little "thermometer." What does it say for memory available?

This is an example of mine.

You should be able to add a lot more books to your Kindle.  Do you have a lot of music files or audible books on your Kindle?  They take up a lot more space than a regular Kindle/mobi book file.
