I agree, Crystal.Crystal_ said:Take a sleeping pill.
The truth is, you probably won't sleep.
I can never sleep before an early flight because I'm anxious I'll miss it. And I don't mean 6 A.M. Even a noon flight! Anxiety is a part of life, unfortunately. Or maybe fortunately. There isn't a huge difference between anxiety and excitement.
Good advice, Kirkee. I might even top it off with a snifter of cognac.Kirkee said:First of all, Mike, congrats! You hit the jackpot.
Now, for the other: I don't like to advocate drinking,
but a couple of bottles of Sam Adams shouldn't turn you into
a heavy drinker & ought to relax you enough so that you'll be
able to get some shuteye.
Thank you, RobertRobert Dahlen said:What's your favorite way to relieve stress? Try it tonight. (I have something that usually helps me sleep...but I'll be cattle-prodded if I discuss it. )
Come to think of it, a cattle prod might work too.
Sleep or not, here's hoping for big results!
That's good too. Focusing on a specific task makes it a lot harder to stress. Unless you start to stress about how messy your cupboards are...kathrynoh said:If you are full of nervous energy, may as well get it working for you. Go clean out those cupboards full of junk that you've put off doing for months/years or something like that.
