I'm wondering something about blurbs, is there a guideline that some would recommend as to how to go by it? I've so far understood the smaller the info the better or one character should be focused on etc...

For example I didn't make it in ABNA because my pitch was an epic fail I suppose, I just feel I never get to get the message across (the shorter seems to be better for me based on my past experience), I'm not upset for being in the 80% though because the truth is it now motivates me to do better.

I know a Pitch and Blurb is probably different and besides I have this great idea stealing ideas from my own book (that was in ABNA) and I want to perfect it for my upcoming Serial I want to start other than the one I already have.

I wrote a big long reply to this with my strategy. Then I deleted it. It was crap. I dunno. I'm gonna use the force to see if I can boil the essence of the book down into a couple sentences. My strategy will be to think about it until I blow a fuse.
