How do you categorize your website?

I am in the midst of publishing my author website. I want to know which category is best for an author. Out of the seven I'm offered it seems to me Personal, Business, Other are most relevant to what I'm doing and the type of audience I need.

The other options were Group/Organization, Education, Wedding, Portfolio.

I think what I am looking at is Business, since I'm an Indie author looking to sell my books. Or would Personal be the the right choice?

Does anyone have a suggestion?

Bump.
I'm curious about where you're listing your website. Business seems more correct, and it would fit in the area of entertainment. Haven't gone and listed websites in a long time, but when I did list as an author, it was under business than entertainment.

Weebly.

Thanks for that. Yes, business under entertainment is about right since I am writing fiction at the moment.

I've just noticed there's no subcategory of entertainment under business.

It goes 'Business >Local (Brick & Mortar), Online Store, Services, Photography, Rentals/Hospitality, Events/Conferences, Musicians, Non-Profit Organization, Agents, Portfolios, Other.

The best picks from this would be Online Store or Services wouldn't it? Or Other?
Okay, I'm picking the best way to go to take advantage of the aggregating engines is to go with Business>Online Store.

Or -

Business>Others

????
Bump.

Anyone, go ahead and make a suggestion.

I'm sitting here drumming my fingers on my desk. I have to make one or other choice fairly soonish. I need help because quite honestly it's not really my area of expertise or experience.

Hello? Help. Anyone.

I don't have any expertise in this either. But I do have to create my own author website this coming week. I would go with Business -- Online Store. You will have links on your site to Amazon, Apple, etc.. so it is a store of sorts. And it leaves open the possibility to actually sell directly from your website in the future.

But I really don't think it matters. If you think of your site as just a sociable exchange with fans, it's fine to file it as Other.
Carolyn, you make good sense. I will go with Online Store also.
If it's Weebly, I think they only ask you those questions to narrow down the website layouts that they offer you. You can pick anything, but online store shoudl work well.
