Readers don't actually need to know anything. What you choose to share is entirely up to you. It's not even a "classier/not classier" thing; it's simply your personal choice on how public you want to be, about any part of your life. The only thing that ever has to be public is your product--not your process.

I would think they'd be more interested in whether you'll be writing more stories at all -- not who's publishing them. I don't even bother to look at who published a book when I consider buying it.

Do what feels comfortable and right for you.  That's my best advice!

As a reader speaking,  the only thing I want to know is will you still be writing books.
As to the how you get it published,  not my concern.
