I am trying to put a link to my monthly book counts in my signature line.  I can get the url to show up but how do I rename it, i.e., how do I make it say "April Book Count" instead of just showing the url?

Like so:

[url =XXX]April Book Count[/url]

where XXX equals the URL, and you need to remove the space between the first url and the equal sign.

What am I doing wrong? This is what I have:

Which I just saw when I previewed, that it's correct. Here's the code with the space:

[url =http://www.kboards.com/index.php/topic,22128.50.html]April Book Count[/url]

So why isn't it right in my signature line?

In your signature, did you put the

[/url]

at the end?

I did. It's just weird because in the body of my last post it made the link correctly, but the exact same code in the signature line doesn't.  Still puzzled...

I checked your profile, and it was a nesting issue. The April Book Count link was set up properly, but the Ticker Factory graphic didn't have a closing tag for its URL tag. So it was throwing things off. Fixed now.
