I'm just a stingy dad.
If I bought another Kindle, I am afraid I would just keep it for a spare.

I have to admit I was fueled by a bit of guilt. His birthday was in April and he'd mentioned wanting one, but we got him a TV instead because he's wanted one to hang on his wall since he moved out. Turns out, he would have preferred the Kindle.

I don't think he realizes I can see what he's buying, though. This could get interesting
