Hi folks,

Just signed up to this here board and it seems pretty busy. Gonna take me a while to figure it out
I reckon ;)

Hope I'm not too late to the party. I think I read somewhere that ebooks have just overtaken paper
books in sales. Hopefully I'm not too late to get going!

Ciao,

Jason

Welcome.  I think the ebook train is just pulling out of the station so
you're on board in plenty of time.

Yeah, I thought I heard the whistle blow as I ran madly down the platform :)

About this Kindleboards forum. Where would a fella go who's lost his way and
doesn't know quite how this fancy forum works and how to make the most of it?

Hey Bob,

Thanks for the welcome. Loved your guest post on Konrath's blog. You shared a great amount of valuable info!

I thought Obama was trying to bring you guys universal health care ;) Seems when Canucks invade the USA
we're only interested in burning down the White House LOL

Speaking of the navy, Calgary has a navy base... and we're landlocked :)

Hi Jason:

Waving from Ottawa.

Where to get started on KindleBoards... Yikes. Now there's question. You could start by reading the bolded threads at the top of each page.

Teresa, who just thanked a Calgary cop for handcuff info for my latest novella

Hi Jason!  For a writer, a good place to start is the 'writer's cafe', a child of the Book Bazaar.  Lots of great people here.  I'm sure you'll fit right in.  Welcome!

Hey thanks Teresa, my folks are in Ontario - T dot (center of the universe or so they tell me;))

I'll take a boo at the bolded threads. Btw, cool on getting a Calgary cop to give you some info
on police goodies. I was a cop in Calgary back in 2000. Fun times!

Thanks Sarah,

Mmm... a writer's cafe. Do they serve good soy lattes? :)

Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out.
