I cheated on my Kindle today

Some of my favorite books of all time are not on Kindle and chances are they never will so I still have to read some DTB's.
I have a small library of those priced books and will keep that.

You need to go into counseling to find out why you feel you must cheat on your beloved Kindle. Remember that Kindle infidelity is recognized as valid grounds for divorce in 47 states.

Atunah - I think it is a him... I haven't actually recieve him yet, so can't be sure....

Steve... hmmm, maybe I am in one of the 3 states it is not grounds for divorce? Plus, does it count in my favor that I am waiting 3 long months for him - do i really have to go that long without a new book to read also? Surely he will understand...

Are you really going to go into court and state that the reason it was OK for you to be unfaithful to your Kindle is that it had been a long winter and you weren't being fully satisfied. I don't think the judge will accept that

Long-distance relationships are tough. However, as you haven't actually met him yet, I think the DTBs fall under the "books before you" clause.

LOL- Steve. But the fact he has not arrived, isn't that abandonment on his part? Plus, I still am holding out hope that I am in one of the 3 states it is not grounds for....


Lotus - thank you! I like that reasoning... and i do promise that, once he arrives - I will only buy DTB with his approval. I think he will be a very undertsanding guy and get my collection bug with certain authors.

OK TM, here's the story.

First, it can't be abandonment since he never was with you. You can't abandon someone you haven't been with yet. The 3 states are (drum roll please):

Alaska
Hawaii
Montana

I will just hope he is a very understanding kindle... I did buy a few books for him today also, that surely will help, right?

If the DTB aren't available for the Kindle then it ain't cheating.

The one was... but i just didnlt want to wait 3 months to read it. I am terrible....


And the Kindle and I will not be having an opne relationship. he is mine... all mine! no one else gets to read him. I may show him to others, but not sure of they will even be able to touch him (well maybe the kid will)....

LOl Ya guys... ya just ain't listening to your electronics!

My desktop still gets into a snit iffen I use the tablet when it is on and can see... (yes they have names and genders too)

If my Kindle starts acting like a "Transformer", we'll talk. Until then it is a nameless sexless it and that 's it.

With the low ebb in TV programing, don't be surprised if we don't see the premier of Kindle Kourt soon.

Perhaps if you are REALLY, REALLY, REALLY nice to your new Kindle for a few months, he will ignore your brief indiscretion. Promise to never do it again, and take him out for an expensive dinner. That may just do it.

Hmmmm, dinner and something shiney could work if the kindle were a girl kindle, but since her Kindle is a he, maybe it'll take a powertool or something to assuage its jealousy.
