I tend to just jump into things.

I am not exactly a Kindle newbie, having owned one for a little over a year. I just didn't know there were forums for people who owned them--found this one by accident.

how'd you find us?  (I have visions of you walking down the street and stumbling over us!)

While that does sound like something I'd do...I can't remember how I found you. I know it's only been a few hours...hmm, I'll have to try to retrace my steps. ::)

Welcome, Blue! Glad to have you here. Make yourself at home.

What did you write for NaNoWriMo?

I wrote a book with a decent plot, but terrible dialog.  :p  (About a dirty cop who gets found out by his girlfriend's daughter.)  I haven't revisited it yet, but at least this year I was close to wrapping up as I hit 50,000.  Last year I was only halfway done with the book.  ::)  That one never got finished, I'm sad to say.

Hello, BlueNorma -

Glad to have you here!

I've not heard of the NaNoWriMo until these last couple of months when I read about on some of my favorite websites and my local newspaper.  Sounds very challenging, at the least!  What an awesome thing to participate in  8)

Hope you stick around to "jump in" on more discussions,

Marci
