I just finished reading to my daughter from The Surprising Adventures of the Magical Monarch of Mo and His People. Then, when it's time for me to leave, she insists that I leave my Kindle there to read to her with Text to Speech. I let it read, and then go back to my room, ready to read my own book. Then I realize I can't, my daughter has it.
Sure, I could read my book on my wife's Fire, or on my tablet. But this might be a good excuse to get a Paperwhite. My daughter is just about 6, and won't read from the Kindle - she reads paper books - but loves the text to speech. Maybe once she starts reading from the Kindle, I can give her the K3.
